World Trade Centre Winnipeg’s Trade Accelerator Program Fall Workshop

CEDF collaborates with a large network in advancing economic development and one of the organizations that we work in partnership with is “The World Trade Centre Winnipeg (WTC)”. WTC delivers the Trade Accelerator Program (TAP) within Manitoba which is an innovative and dynamic program aimed at helping Manitoba’s small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs) overcome barriers to exporting.

Intake is now open for their fall workshop taking place through the months of October – December.  For full details on the upcoming workshop please click here

Please note that there is an opportunity for travel assistance for anyone who wants to participate from Northern Manitoba.  To view full program information on benefits of this program please click here

The last TAP ran from April – June of 2022 and CEDF was contacted by WTC on a vacant space.  CEDF through our Look North Initiative was working with Crystal Kolt, Executive Director of the “Uptown Emporium” in Flin Flon, on the opening and expansion of their operations and CEDF felt this would be a great opportunity for the Uptown Emporium to take part in this program and were pleased when Crystal agreed.  Stephanie Johnson, Economic Development Advisor took part in the program alongside Crystal.  Here is more of what Crystal had to say about the taking the program “Thank you so much for the wonderful opportunity that you gave myself and the Uptown Emporium by recommending us for the TAP program.   In all honesty I didn’t realize what we were getting into but it was fabulous. We learned so much throughout that month and although I had more than a few sleepless nights accomplishing the final assignment I am really grateful to have the Export Plan as a document moving forward.
